I Can’t Get No Satisfaction: Louise Wilson On Why So Many Of Us Are Feeling Unsatisfied & What We Can Do About It

An Interview With Drew Gerber

Nature is a powerful teacher and when you let her, she can guide you to being your best self.

From an objective standpoint, we are living in an unprecedented era of abundance. Yet so many of us are feeling unsatisfied. Why are we seemingly so insatiable? What is going on inside of us that is making us feel unsatisfied? What is the brain chemistry that makes us feel this way? Is our brain wired for endless insatiable consumption? What can we do about it? In this interview series, we are talking to credentialed experts such as psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, brain science experts, as well as spiritual and religious leaders, and mind-body-spirit coaches, to address why so many of us are feeling unsatisfied & what we can do about it.

As a part of this series, I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Louise Wilson.

Louise Wilson is an entrepreneur, business coach and soul coach for entrepreneurs who want to create the abundant business they dream of.

Over the past two decades Louise has established multiple successful businesses in a variety of niches.

Using her unique approach blending spirituality with business she guides her clients to reconnect with the most powerful version of themselves — their soul — so that they can reclaim their truest nature and power, release the subconscious beliefs at a present life, past life and ancestral level that prevent them from hitting their financial and business goals, and rise to create the abundant business and life they dream of!

Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series! Before we dive in, our readers would love to know how you got from “there to here.” Inspire us with your backstory!

There was a time in my life when I used to hide in my bedroom wardrobe!

As a child I was deeply moved by C.S. Lewis’s mystical, magical book The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.

I now realize that my ten-year old self simply KNEW there was a mystical, magical world “out there” waiting to be explored. So I’d squish myself into my bedroom wardrobe, pushing up against the wall, patiently waiting for the door to open.

See — children are still very much connected to the spiritual realms and their spiritual roots — because they’ve only just left them!

Oftentimes they may play with “imaginary” friends — AKA spirits.

They can also be sensitive to energy — picking up what others are putting down.

They may also have an awareness of who they once were in previous lifetimes.

And if you find yourself feeling sceptical about the validity of past lives, there is a growing body of evidence that reinforces the concept that we do indeed live many lifetimes.

Jim B. Tucker, M.D. is a Child Psychiatrist, and Bonner-Lowry Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

Tucker has researched and written several scientific studies and books documenting the past life, natal and prenatal memories of children including:

Tucker J.B. Life Before Life: A Scientific Investigation of Children’s Memories of Previous Lives. New York: St. Martin’s Press, 2005.

And,

Return to Life: Extraordinary Cases of Children Who Remember Past Lives

New York: St. Martin’s Press, 2013

Then there’s Brian L. Weiss, M.D. and a graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, and Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami.

Weiss specializes in past life regression. His books cover topics on reincarnation, past life regression, future life progression, and the survival of the soul after death.

It’s almost a decade since I trained with Weiss and back then the vast majority of trainees were therapists, psychotherapists and hypnotherapists looking to incorporate past life regression into their practice since they understood the power of this work to create positive, powerful shifts in a person’s life.

Where am I going with all of this?

Well, as a child I also experienced past life memories.

But, there was more!

There were things that I just “knew” about myself.

At the tender age of 7, I “knew” that I wanted to be a businesswoman.

At 13, I started my own “Avon” business, and at the age of 17 I “saw” a future- paced vision of myself running a successful global business.

Sadly, by the time I turned 21, I had given up on my entrepreneurial dreams.

A struggling dyslexic, I emerged from the British education system believing that I was stupid and that I could never in a million years establish a successful global business.

The sad truth is I wasted 20 years of my life believing all of the stories that were limiting me.

It took me a long time — too long — to find my way home, to return to my spiritual roots, and to finally find the courage and confidence to follow my soul’s guidance and calling to pursue my wildest entrepreneurial dreams.

Based on my own life’s journey and experience, I believe that when we feel restless or dis-satisfied with our lives, what we are experiencing is the call of our soul to remember who we truly are, why we are here, and what we came here to accomplish.

We may experience “the call” through intuitive prompts to choose a different path. If we are lucky we may know what that path is, and if we don’t know (yet) then the more we go within to explore our spiritual roots, to connect with our intuitive guidance — our soul — the more we open ourselves to the guidance and soul healing we need to get there.

My spiritual journey took many twists and turns. I now know that had I excelled in the education system I would be living a VERY different life today — one where I solely took counsel from my conscious, logical, analytical mind to make my way in the world — VERSUS leaning into the all-powerful guidance of my soul.

As I look back, I realize that we teach what we most need to learn. And, now that I know HOW to quickly and easily connect with my soul to get the answers and guidance I need, I am now able to share these tools with my clients to make their lives easier.

I’m not saying it’s always easy to follow your spiritual path and calling. But, I am the captain of my life, setting the course and path for my entrepreneurial dreams to unfold, whilst allowing my soul, and my ancestors to support me along the way.

This is the reason WHY I do what I do!

WHY I am obsessed with guiding entrepreneurs to quickly and easily reconnect with THE MOST powerful version of themselves — their soul — so that they can:

  • Reclaim their truest nature and power.
  • Release the subconscious beliefs at a present life, past life and ancestral level that are sabotaging their success.
  • Rise to create the abundant business and life they dream of!

What lessons would you share with yourself if you had the opportunity to meet your younger self?

There are so many!

And, with hindsight I could have saved myself so much time and heartache.

BUT we teach what we MOST need to learn.

So here goes with the lessons that I would share with my younger self:

1. Don’t be concerned with what others think.

Stay in lane. Know what you want, what is important to you, BE BOLD, stand up for your beliefs! Own your wisdom and speak your truth.

2. The only thing that stands between you and your dreams is energy — your energy!

The more you can lighten up, and let go of the deep subconscious beliefs at a present life, past life and ancestral level that are triggering lower vibrational frequencies thereby repelling the things you desire — the more you can move your energy and frequency upwards to match the frequency of the reality you want.

See — the hippies were right after all — it really is ALL about the VIBE! This isn’t new age woo — it’s physics. In the words of Einstein, the word famous physicist: “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

3. Go for it! You can do it! But keep your energy and your vibe high!

4. Take action and complete.

Don’t allow yourself to fall into fear, procrastination and overwhelm — these are sneaky forms of self-sabotage the ego creates to keep you “safe” and prevent you from moving forwards.

5. Connect with your soul so you can get really clear on what you want

Stay focused, heal your past, activate your past life and ancestral gifts and use them!

6. Remember the fastest most effective ways to connect with your soul, and your ancestors are through Guided Soul Journeys, Guided Past Life Journeys, Guided Ancestral Journeys and travelling through The Dreamtime.

7. Guidance, support and the spiritual realms surround you, support you, and are simply a BREATH away.

Quiet Your Ego. Give Voice To Your Soul. Go For Your Dreams!

None of us are able to experience success without support along the way. Is there a particular person for whom you are grateful because of the support they gave you to grow you from “there to here?” Can you share that story and why you are grateful for them?

I have been guided and inspired by so many incredible friends, mentors and teachers. As I reflect upon those special encounters, the one thing that stands out for me is their ability to own their voice, speak their truth and to not allow the naysayers to knock them off track. These qualities are truly magnetic!

But, as I think about this question, and whom I would choose, the person who comes to mind is my first husband.

Our break-up was one of THE MOST painful, and challenging times of my life.

As I look back, I can feel gratitude because the experience catapulted me into a magical world filled with adventure. A world “the old me” would never in a million years have had the courage to explore.

See — when you feel as though you have lost everything you no longer have anything left to lose. In this way, this experience, as painful as it was, pushed me over the edge and the ledge forcing me to take risks in my life to have faith and fly. What is really important here is that as I started to take those risks, to do things that scared me, I finally discovered who I truly was and what I was actually capable of achieving.

Are you working on any exciting new projects now? How do you think it might help people?

Yes I am thank you for asking.

I take a different approach to business than most experts out there as I blend the worlds of spirituality and business.

At present I am launching my LIVE half-day virtual workshop Clarity NOW!

Clarity NOW! connects you to the unseen spiritual realms allowing you to experience a one-on-one conversation with your soul, your ancestors and spiritual guides.

During this LIVE Shamanic Journey of the Soul you have the opportunity to experience a powerful spiritual awakening opening doorways to even deeper levels of understanding about yourself, your business and your life.

You will also begin to uncover some of the deep subconscious beliefs at a present life, past life and ancestral level that are keeping you stuck playing way too small of a game in your business and life.

Ok, thank you for sharing your inspired life. Let’s now talk about feeling “unsatisfied”. In the Western world, humans typically have their shelter, food, and survival needs met. What has led to us feeling we aren’t enough and don’t have enough? What is the wiring? Or in other words, how has nature and nurture played into how humans (in an otherwise “safe and secure” environment) experience feeling less than, or a need to have more than what is needed for basic survival?

We are influenced by and are a product of our environment

And it works like this:

It is the events and experiences of our lives that ACTUALLY shape our identity (who we think we are), how we behave, how we show up in the world and how our lives unfold.

See — when stuff happens in our lives, we attach meanings, beliefs, feelings, and emotions to those events.

And it is those meanings, beliefs, feelings and emotions that subsequently drive our behaviour, how we act and show up, which in turn determines the results we experience.

As an example, my experience in the British education system was less than positive. A struggling dyslexic I emerged from the system believing I was stupid and as a result of this experience I gave up on my childhood dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. See I had formulated, accepted and then integrated the belief that I couldn’t possibly establish my own successful global business.

Luckily for me, I discovered that I wasn’t stuck with my beliefs, my fate and my identity — I could change it ALL!

Whilst I wasn’t able to change the events of my life, I still had the power to change the thoughts, beliefs, emotions and meanings that I had attached to those events.

Where am I going with this?

I believe when we feel dissatisfaction in our lives, what we are feeling and experiencing is our core essence, our truest nature, the call of our soul that has successfully pushed through the many years and layers of our conditioning rising to the surface to tell us:

STOP SETTLING FOR LESS BECAUSE YOU ARE MEANT FOR MORE!

The real question is are we listening?

Those feelings of dissatisfaction are providing us with a powerful opportunity to dig in, to go within and discover what actually lies beneath the surface, who we truly are, and what we truly want and value in our lives.

And, as we do this deep inner work to uncover and take action from our truest nature, THAT is when we open ourselves up to experiencing a deeper sense of peace, purpose and satisfaction in our lives.

When working with my clients, I like to use the analogy of what it would feel like to spend your entire life wearing clothes that are ten sizes too small for you.

Imagine for a moment, how uncomfortable that is going to feel. Yet this is EXACTLY what we are doing when we choose to settle for less operating from an identity that is way smaller than who we truly are.

How are societies different? For example, capitalistic societies trade differently than communists. Developed nations trade differently than developing nations. In your opinion, how does society shape a human’s experience and feelings of satisfaction?

I think I can best speak to this through the lens of my own experience.

For the first three decades of my life there was one institution that profoundly shaped my identity.

A struggling dyslexic I withered within the harsh confines of the British education system.

See — the system kept telling me that I was stupid and a failure. So I emerged with a very limited view of who I was and what I was capable of achieving.

And, because of those poor thoughts and beliefs, I let go of my entrepreneurial dreams.

Sadly, I bought into the belief that I just had to accept my fate, suck it up and take whatever came my way.

I think this is the root cause of dissatisfaction for many as we have a nagging sense or feeling that we are meant for more YET through our conditioning we have become trapped in an identity that doesn’t’ serve us and barely scratches the surface of our truest nature and greatest potential.

The good news is we are never stuck with our identity and our fate. We can change it!

In fact the fastest way to transform your life is to transform your identity. I am not saying it is easy, but when you can follow a proven process it is possible, and this is the work that I love to do with my clients.

Because the real truth is in order to feel a lasting sense of satisfaction, peace and purpose in our lives, we must uncover and let go of the conditioning and beliefs that are smothering who we truly are, and what we really want and value in life.

And, as you do this deep inner work to let go of the subconscious beliefs that are limiting you, you can powerfully reclaim your identity and go on to live the life of your dreams.

In the words of Carl Jung, the world famous psychiatrist and psychoanalyst:

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

This is why I do the work that I do! WHY I am obsessed with helping my clients shine a light on the deep subconscious beliefs that are directing their lives in less positive ways.

And, as they do this deep inner exploration and healing they can step into their infinitely best self so that they can live their infinitely best life.

With a specific focus on brain function, how has the brain and its dominion over the body and beliefs been impacted by the societal construct?

We are a product of our environment — who we are, our thoughts, beliefs, feelings, emotions, actions and identity are shaped by our environment.

I believe it is our life’s journey to do the deep inner healing to understand ourselves, who we truly are at our core, and to let go of ALL of the conditioning that masks our truest nature and identity, clouding our thoughts, decisions, behaviours, and interactions with others.

Do you think the way our society markets and advertises goods and services, has affected people’s feelings of satisfaction? Can you explain what you mean?

When we buy stuff we want it to make us feel a certain way — to fill the gap or void that we may be experiencing.

I think when we are not living and following our purpose that is when we start to feel as though something is missing.

So when the glass is empty we may feel tempted to fill it — right?

I believe that marketing companies capitalize on these feelings of emptiness, seeking to influence people to fill “the void” through buying their stuff.

Marketing professionals are very intentional in how they position their “stuff” speaking to the aspirational identities of their ideal clients and how their “stuff” can actually help them step into those desired identities.

So, a person may feel when I invest in XYZ it can fix who I am, and how I am feeling, and with this acquisition I can finally be the person I aspire to be.

However, when they acquire the “stuff” the feelings of satisfaction are fleeting.

This is because:

Material Stuff Can NEVER Fill The Gap.

Material Stuff Cannot Rewire Your identity — Only YOU Can Do That!

And this is the work I love to support my clients in achieving.

How is the wiring of the brain, body, and beliefs shaped by marketing, language, and how humans trade?

We receive a great deal of information through our senses, as we hear, see, sense or feel things. Marketers use powerful language patterns, imagery, and sound to stimulate all of our senses, the goal being to influence our wants, needs, desires and desired identities and ultimately our buying behaviour.

I work in marketing so I’m very cognizant of this question. In your opinion, how do you think marketing professionals can be more responsible for how their advertising shapes humans’ health and experience of happiness overall?

The goal of advertising is to influence people’s purchasing decisions.

I think marketing professionals can be more responsible by not influencing or rather manipulating people to buy stuff they really don’t need and that can’t actually solve their problems.

However, why rely on the marketers?

How about we take back control by doing the work to uncover what we REALLY want in life, what we value most and what brings us joy.

The more we are tuned in, following and living our deeper purpose the less likely we are to get side-tracked into buying stuff that can in no way support the fulfilment of our deeper purpose and dreams.

PLUS, the more you are tuned into your intuition, the more you will know when something is a right fit for you. When in doubt, all you need to do is take a moment and a breath, lean in and ask “is this the right purchasing decision for me at this time?” The answer may come through a sense, feeling or knowing.

Our soul is guiding us 24/7 towards the fulfilment of our higher greater purpose, and when we know how to tune in to receive the answers we need, the less likely we are to wander or stray from our soul’s path.

For you personally, if you have all your basic needs met, do you feel you have enough in life?

It is important to have all of your basic needs met.

However, it is also important to experience and express love, to know your core values, what matters most to you, why you are here, what is your deeper purpose, and then have the faith, courage and confidence to follow it!

How can you know if you are following your deeper purpose?

If you absolutely love what you do, maybe time flies, and you feel happy and at peace.

Very likely your purpose feels greater than you, as it fulfills and helps so many more people than JUST yourself, maybe it’s your family, or your community, adults, youth, the environment, whatever it is, you feel good doing it, and you know in your heart and your soul that you are absolutely on the right track.

Okay, fantastic. Here is the main question of our interview: Can you share with our readers your “5 things we can each do to address the feeling of not having enough.” Please share a story or example for each.

Here are 5 things you can do to help you address those feelings of confusion, dissatisfaction, or that you aren’t or don’t feel you have enough in your life.

The FASTEST Way To Transform Your Life Is To Change Your Identity!

If you find yourself feeling dissatisfied, maybe you don’t feel as though you are enough, or have enough, the fastest way to transform your life is to change your identity.

Because it is your identity, your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, behaviours and actions that are actually responsible for determining the results you currently have.

Unfortunately, I had to discover this super simple truth — the hard way.

See — at an early age I “knew” that I wanted to be an entrepreneur.

However, my experience in the education system led me to believe (there go those limiting beliefs again) that I could never be an entrepreneur, that I didn’t have it within me to achieve that kind of success.

As a result, I wasted 15 years of my life stumbling around wearing an identity that in no way served me, NOR was it anywhere near close to being a reflection of who I truly am and what I am actually capable of achieving.

Way back then, I simply didn’t believe in myself. And, I was afraid of everything!

I would never venture beyond the safety of what I knew — my comfort zone.

I only ever went for jobs I 100% knew that I could do — where’s the growth in that?

And, if I was going on holiday everything had to be planned out in advance — where’s the space for magic and adventure to unfold?

Make no mistake, your identity, who you think you are, your daily self-talk, drives your actions, your choices, your decisions and behaviours, and this is what determines how your life unfolds.

If you don’t like your life, if you don’t like what you have in your life, then you have to change who you are being.

And, if you find yourself sitting there wondering what are my first steps?

What can I do right now to change my identity?

Well, did you know that your soul can powerfully guide you?

And, if the concept of having a soul feels a little uncomfortable or “out there”, I have to ask you if you feel the same discomfort around the notion of having a soul-purpose or a soul-mate?

See — for many we can perhaps more easily accept the concept of having a soul purpose or soul mate, so why not stretch the boundaries of your beliefs to believing that you also have a soul that can powerfully guide you to be your infinitely best self so that you can live your infinitely best life!

After all everything we think is simply a belief that we choose to believe or not — so why not try a little experiment.

Just for the next little while, I want to invite you to pay attention, and to notice how your soul is actually guiding you 24/7 — try it — what have you got to lose?

Your soul can help you change your world.

Right now your soul might be nudging you to ask for a raise, to go for a promotion or to start your own business, or a family, or to write a book, or to speak on stages, work for a non-profit, save the environment — the question is are you listening and taking action on those intuitive nudges, and prompts?

OR

Are you choosing to take counsel from your ego, your logical, critical, analytical mind that is giving you ALL of the reasons why not to step out of your comfort zone?

See — you can only ever find out what you are actually capable of achieving by stretching yourself to do things you’ve never done before, to feel all of the feels, the fear, anxiety, discomfort, ALL OF IT, and then do that darn thing anyway.

Remember there’s a reason why they are called “growing pains” — because growing can feel painful, scary and uncomfortable.

And if I might venture to suggest that possibly one of the scariest things we have ever done in our lives, was to leave our mother’s womb, to be thrust naked into a noisy, bright, chaotic world, where we don’t speak the language, we have no money or belongings and we just have to trust that everything is going to be ok.

And, then there are those final moments in our lives, when we find ourselves looking back on our life’s journey.

And, the real question is: when your time comes, because it comes to us all, some sooner, some later, but as you find yourself sitting in your proverbial rocking chair what will you be thinking and saying to yourself then?

Hopefully you will feel happy with your choices that you can look back on your life knowing that you did everything in your power to be your best self so that you could live your best life.

So, right now, as you journey through the space in between, what will you choose to do, who will you choose to be, and HOW will you choose to live your life?

Will you harness the courage, and faith you had when you first came into the world?

It is my hope that you won’t have to experience what I experienced where a crisis had to show up in my life forcing me to find out who I was capable of being and what I was actually capable of achieving.

I had to feel as though I had lost everything in my life before I was willing to feel fear and take action anyway.

Doing things that really scared me showed me how powerful and resilient I can choose to be.

The lesson here is this:

Don’t let crisis be your teacher!

Take control, be the captain of your ship and your life, allowing your inner GPS, your soul to guide you, to help you uncover your infinitely best self so that you can live your infinitely best life.

This is WHY I am obsessed with supporting my clients to connect with their soul so that they can:

  • Reclaim their truest nature and power
  • Release the subconscious beliefs at a present life, past life and ancestral level that are sabotaging their success, and
  • Rise to create the abundant business and life they dream of!

For addressing those feelings of confusion, dissatisfaction, or that you aren’t or don’t feel you have enough in your life is to:

Know What You VALUE Most!

When you know your values you have a strong foundation on which to create a life you love.

Once again I had to learn this lesson the hard way! As always though we teach what we most need to learn.

See — in 2006 I established a very successful retail store — Rosie’s — and I loved it.

I created a beautiful space where we sold an eclectic mix of art, books, clothes, pottery, and jewellery.

We also had a coffee shop, hair salon, and healing rooms.

However, in 2010, once I uncovered that my number #1 core value was freedom, I quickly realized that being tied to a bricks and mortar store ran completely counter to this core value.

With this new awareness, as my shifts rolled around, I began to notice feeling unwell.

That right there was a red flag! Something was definitely “off”. Even though the store was successful, it was clearly out of alignment with who I truly am and my core values.

Now that the unconscious was conscious, now that I knew how important freedom is to me, this awareness and mis-alignment in who I was actually being was beginning to show up in my body.

Our bodies keep score, and we need to listen to them. I quickly realized that I had to make a change in my business and in my life — a change that was initially scary to do because it meant I had to hire a full-time manager.

However, once the manager joined our team, it freed me up to focus my energy on my absolute passion and purpose in life which is coaching fellow entrepreneurs to create the abundant business and life they dream of.

Knowing your top 5 core values can help you design a life that is a mirror reflection of the contours of your soul.

Having an awareness of your values can also help you make those seemingly difficult decisions.

For example, say you are offered a highly paid job that is going to take you away from your family 50% of the time, yet family is your number core value, with this knowledge and awareness you are now able to make a better informed decision and choice around what you need and want to do.

For addressing those feelings of confusion, dissatisfaction, or that you aren’t or don’t feel you have enough in your life is to:

Know Your Life And Soul’s Purpose

Now you might find that your purpose springs forth from your core values.

Knowing your purpose in life and then taking action to live your purpose is fundamental to helping you create and live a life that is filled with peace, satisfaction, joy, and purpose.

And if you find yourself sitting there thinking, I’m not sure if I know what my purpose is, then please know there is a place inside of you that does!

And, this part of you might already be trying to get your attention, whether it’s through those intuitive nudges, prompts or feelings that something is a little off in your life, or that something needs to change, that you need to start forging a new path.

Please know that it’s never too late to change — until it’s too late to change — i.e. once you reach your final rocking chair moment!

And, hopefully when that time comes, you can look back on your life with zero regrets, knowing you played full out and went for your dreams.

When it comes to living life fully and on purpose — don’t let your fears guide you.

In order to live your best life, it’s important for you to release fear and doubt and start following those intuitive prompts and nudges to do what you LOVE even if it scares you. Remember there’s a reason why we call them “growing pains!”

Again, I learnt this lesson the hard way. I had to be in crisis BEFORE I was willing to take the road less travelled, to create a life that matched the contours of my soul.

Once I started to lean in, listen and follow my intuition that is when my life started to change for the better, when the magic really began to unfold.

So, if you have a dream that’s nagging at you, remember it is coming from a place deep within you that absolutely knows you already have everything you need to achieve it.

So it is your job and your goal to find that place and that person within you, to reclaim your truest nature, identity and power, so that you can be and live your infinitely best life.

For addressing those feelings of confusion, dissatisfaction, or that you aren’t or don’t feel you have enough in your life is to:

Know HOW to RAISE Your Energetic Frequency.

Our energy is very much affected by our inner world, our self-talk, our thoughts, beliefs, feelings and emotions.

So it is important that you are vigilant, doing the work to release and let go of the beliefs, emotions and feelings that are triggering and feeding lower vibrational frequencies in your energy field.

When you know how to shift your energy and frequency upwards to the frequency of the things you want to have and attract into your life you will magnetize those things to you.

This is not woo, it is grounded in physics.

Remember what Einstein said: “Everything is Energy. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

The challenge is that a lot of the beliefs that limit us are invisible to us, as they are buried within our subconscious mind.

That is WHY I am obsessed with helping my clients uncover and release the deep subconscious beliefs at a present life, past life and ancestral level that are actually responsible for repelling the success they dream of.

Managing your energy takes commitment and practice.

To help you I’m going to share one very simple yet powerful tool you can use right now to raise your frequency and that is to Practice Expressing Gratitude.

The more you can regularly look for and express gratitude in your life the more you are able to powerfully shift your mood, your energy and your frequency.

This is WHY so many teachers talk about the power and importance of expressing gratitude daily.

For addressing those feelings of confusion, dissatisfaction, or that you aren’t or don’t feel you have enough in your life is to:

Let Nature Be Your Teacher

Nature is a powerful teacher and when you let her, she can guide you to being your best self.

See — does a sunflower seed ever question its ability to blossom into a beautiful flower?

Does it shrink back with fear and embarrassment when in the company of other beautiful flowers.

Does it think, “oh I can’t possibly shine, or out-shine the flowers around me”.

Of course not! When it is ready, it pops up, flourishes and shines for all to see.

The tiniest of sunflower seeds can teach us so much about the power of accepting our truest nature and the importance of creating the right environment to support our growth so that we can become the best version of ourselves.

We know that we need to nurture a seedling. That it needs the right conditions to grow. It needs good soil, proper nourishment, sunlight and water to flourish.

And, in the same way, it is our job to create the same nurturing and nourishing environment for ourselves so that we too can fully flourish, blossom and grow into being our infinitely best selves.

We need to:

  • Surround ourselves with people who love and support us.
  • Pay special attention to our thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and emotions nurturing and promoting positive self talk, and those high vibe feelings, and
  • We need to consistently weed out from our minds and our energy field the thoughts, beliefs and emotions that are limiting us, strangling our growth and our ability to shine brightly in the world.

Do you have any favorite books, podcasts, or resources that have inspired you to live with more joy in life?

Yes! The first two resources that instantly come to mind are:

Gregg Braden’s “The Science of Miracles” and

Napoleon Hill’s “Outwitting the Devil: The Secret to Freedom and Success”

You are a person of great influence. If you could start a movement that would bring the most amount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be? You never know what your idea can trigger. 🙂
